About us

The Cifra folk ensemble was founded in 2000 in the heart of Moravian Slovakia in Uherské Hradiště. A year later, Lenka Kraváčková became the artistic director, and she continues to lead the ensemble to this day. Currently, the dance group consists of 40 dancers.

The ensemble's repertoire consists of traditional songs and dances from Slovácko, but we also draw inspiration from beyond the borders, for example from Slovakia. Most of the dance choreography is created by the artistic director, but we also collaborate with other choreographers.

Cifra participates in various performances and festivals both at home and abroad. To date, it has had the opportunity to dance in Hungary, Poland, France, South Korea, Chile, Canada, Madeira, and other countries. It also regularly organizes full-length premieres and educational concerts for schools.

Since 2012, the ensemble has been collaborating with Ohnica cimbalom band, and since 2018 with Špica cimbalom band.

We offer

  • full-length performance by the ensemble
  • performances at festivals, shows, and folklore celebrations
  • performing at balls, parties, celebrations, and corporate events
  • educational concerts

The Cifra folk ensemble can tailor its performances to the requirements of the organizer.
