About us

The Cifra Folklore Ensemble was founded in 2000 in the heart of Moravian Slovácko in Uherské Hradiště. The artistic director from the beginning was PaedDr. Lenka Kraváčková, Ph.D. Currently the company consists of fifteen dance couples.

In its repertoire, Cifra primarily restores and develops the treasures of traditional folk art of Slovácko, which has such a unique and rich culture. However, in search of inspiration, Cifra does not stay only in his native region, but crosses the border to Slovakia in search of folk song and dance.
